Yeah, Moderna mRNA vaccine's dose is higher than Pfizer's. This should be the main reason for Moderna's higher efficacy in preventing infections and hospitalization from Delta, the current most problematic SARS-CoV-2 variant. After all, a higher vaccine dose should, in theory, trigger stronger antibody responses that are more long-lasting.

Moderna's higher dose is also reflected by its higher rate of side effects in clinical trials compared to Pfizer's.

For normal SARS-CoV-2 (wild-type), however, both Moderna and Pfizer are equally effective.
