Yeah, I really hope so that vaccine hesitancy would decrease instead. But honestly, it makes me more hesitant than before, although I still believe vaccines offer more benefits. But it just seems that there are still things we don't know about the vaccine.

And I believe hiding away from the unknown won't do any good in the long-run, as it would be even harder to admit and correct mistakes (if any) by then.
