To be honest, I'm not sure whether areas high in longevity have low incidence of virus infections or not.

But it's very likely that other factors are involved in such areas, such as being less sedentary and overfeeding, which would also contribute to increased longevity, reduced dementia, and an enhanced immune system leading to a lower risk of infections.
