The studies are hyperlinked in the text. The main study described is this one. I understand this study is mainly correlational, hence I did not say "we finally know what causes CFS." By "what drives CFS," i intend to describe the pathomechanisms involved.

I agree MCAS is also a part/subtype of long-Covid, along ME/CFS, POTS, post-ICU syndrome, etc. I also find this to be a problem with long-Covid research because of the recruitment inconsistency as different long-Covid patients may have different subtypes. Regardless, I'm glad you managed to navigate all that and find solutions for your condition.
