That's a nice question. I think viruses evolve naturally in bats whose immune system is highly antiviral. So, the spillover of viruses from bats to other animals (with weaker immune system) results in diseases. More information here if you are interested.

At the same time, I'm not sure where bats may obtain the 'first' coronavirus too.
