Thank you for your two comments here. For me, I think SARS-CoV-2 is just doing what viruses do, as you have pointed out in the other comment here. In fact, these long-term health problems of Covid-19 are not necessarily deadly. While a few may have died, the majority got chronic illnesses such as fatigue and neurological problems after Covid-19.

I also agree that Covid-19 is a wake-up call for scientific and medical communities to research viral-induced chronic illnesses more seriously.
