Thank you for your supportive comment. Honestly, I see the same pattern but because Covid cases have been low in my country (I'm a Malaysian living in Brunei), I am not that concerned.

Now, I do think we need to go on with our lives, but how we do is up to personal choice. I still wear a mask to this day when I enter crowded places with poor ventilation, like gatherings and cinemas. When people ask why, I just say I'm living with my old parents, traveling soon, or just recovered from a cold. And I never tested positive for Covid to this day. But I understand this may be difficult in countries that stigmatize Covid aversion.

Still, in the end, I believe the situation now is better than before. Current Covid variants less dangerous and we have some amount of immunity from vaccines and prior infections.
