Thank you for your kind comment again. Unfortunately, I'm not sure what happens to survivors of VITT. But I think long-term side effects are possible, as with any other severe diseases.

Two forms of long-term side effects come into mind: the post-intensive care syndrome (PICS) and post-thrombotic syndrome (PTS).

Although scientists describe PTS as a long-term side effect of deep vein thrombosis (VTE; blood clots in the legs), I think it's equally possible that some form of PTS can happen after VITT.
