Thank you for your comment. Yeah, the effect size is more uncertain for guys, unfortunately. After all, both dementia and shingles affect women much more often than men.

The first study by Eyting et al. did not find a protective effect in men. In contrast, the third study by Taquet et al. found a slight protective effect for both sexes, but the effect size is about 2 times smaller in men.
