Thank you for taking the time to comment. The meta-analysis doesn't distinguish this, I think. Most studies included in the meta-analysis examined healthcare workers wearing mask, so it should lean more on the healthy wearing mask in this case.
In the China cohort study, if at least one family member wore face mask, the transmission reduced by 79%. But the study did not differentiate if it was the healthy or infected who wore mask.
