Thank you for commenting. I don't think taking probiotics with a normal diet is harmful. The majority of research points towards a benefit or no effect, as far as I'm aware. So if you find positive effects after taking probiotics for the Crohn's disease, then there's no reason to stop.

However, taking probiotics after antibiotics could potentially do more good than harm, according to the 2018 study I cited: https://www.cell.com/cell/fulltext/S0092-8674(18)31102-4
