Thank you for commenting. Yeah, I've also read that POTS is commonly underdiagnosed or misdiagnosed as anxiety disorders.

Regarding the mitochondrial theory, I think it depends on where it is. If it's in the brain, it would not be easy to test for it.

In the end, it seems that medicine is ill-equipped to deal with these kinds of complex, chronic problems.
