Oh no, he's probably going to be a bad role model for the child. I wonder how many households are like this, raised in an environment of poor morals. I guess I'm tremendously lucky I had a brilliant father, the first to rise out of poverty in the family.

Anyway, great article, Joe. I see this pattern rather often in Chinese culture too, especially among rich families.
