I must admit that you bring up a good point. But I think nobody really knowns if SARS-CoV-2 (despite asymptomatic) would pose any long-term health consequences either. So perhaps it comes down to personal choice.

Personally, I would take it when the time comes, and I can only hope that side effects (if any at all) would be discovered before then. And if there's really any side effects, hopefully it's temporary.
