I have not seen this so thank you for informing me. I read the entire article and checked some of their citations, and I think it's logical. Perhaps both natural selection (in the mine) and lab mishap have contributed to this pandemic.

However, I'm not qualified by any means. So in my articles in Medium, I only summarized what published peer-reviewed articles have said.

As the authors of the MMP hypothesis admitted, most of their citations supporting the hypothesis are from pre-prints and an unpublished Masters thesis.

But their arguments are convincing. As neither natural selection nor lab leakage alone can explain how Covid-19 originated, it makes sense that both might have played a role.

Thanks again for this. It's something I must keep in mind :))
