Honestly I don’t Know what to make of fiber. I used to constipated often when I was younger. Sometimes fiber helps me get the bowel going, but sometimes it made it worse.

I do well with some fiber, probably around 8–10grams per day. More than that, I get bloated and maybe constipated. But yet zero fiber makes my bowel irregular 😂

I think the gut microbiome enterotype has something to do with how well we digest fiber
