Hi Prof. Agustin, thanks for pointing the link between long Covid and CFS/ME. I'd also like to add that some survivors of Covid-19 have indeed contracted CFS/ME, as some studies have shown.

Here are a few examples:

- Gonzalez-Hermosillo et al. (2021). Post-Acute COVID-19 Symptoms, a Potential Link with Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome: A 6-Month Survey in a Mexican Cohort.

- Kedor et al. (2021). Chronic COVID-19 Syndrome and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME/CFS) following the first pandemic wave in Germany – a first analysis of a prospective observational study.

- Simani et al. (2021). Prevalence and correlates of chronic fatigue syndrome and post-traumatic stress disorder after the outbreak of the COVID-19.

But it's unfortunate that we barely know how to treat CFS/ME, if I'm not wrong, partly due to disease complexity and lack of funding. So, it seems that long-Covid of the CFS/ME subtype will pose additional public health problems.
