Back then, when the pandemic was raging with older variants, I think vaccine mandate was reasonable as it benefits the population as a whole thanks to herd immunity. It's like banning smoking in airplanes or offices.

But now, with newer variants and lower covid transmission in many countries, vaccine mandate isnt reasonable any longer, in my humble opinion. If vaccines can't lower the risk of infection and transmission from newer variants, getting vaccinated no longer protects the population.
